Subject: Free training courses in response to coronavirus (COVID-19)

Good afternoon,

The Department of Trade, Business and Innovation would like to make you aware of a range of short courses that we are funding that will help employers upskill or reskill their staff for free.

If staff need to upskill or reskill in order to do their job or to work in a different area, there are opportunities to:

· complete a short online training course; or

· complete practical training that is being offered with reduced class sizes to comply with physical distancing rules.

Course categories include:

· Digital skills;

· Practical business skills;

· Emergency and disaster;

· Finance skills;

· Environmental studies;

· Hospitality;

· Health and education; and

· Skills for tradies.

We encourage you to view the list of free training courses, and ask that you provide this information to your members to consider and to share with their employees. Further courses will be listed on the web page as they become available.

If you are aware of any essential skill set gaps or if you would like some tailored training to suit your industry and circumstances, please contact admin or phone 08 7913 7500.

Businesses who need advice on what training will benefit them can also contact ISACNT.

Individuals who are unsure or need advice can contact the info or phone 08 8946 7316 .
